Desired Business Capital Investments

In selected situations, SunChase provides business capital to companies with outstanding growth potential. SunChase will provide capital both in the form of loans, equity or other hybrid structures.  An ideal target investment would be a small to mid-sized company in the expansion phase where capital is the primary constraint to growth.  Companies seeking some level of ownership transition are also excellent candidates for SunChase involvement.  In addition to a strong management team, SunChase looks for companies with a proven competitive advantage and a secure path to continued growth. SunChase prefers to commit capital to companies in general commercial sectors such as manufacturing, distribution, business services and consumer services. It would be rare for SunChase to invest capital in early stage and highly speculative companies, or in situations involving complex technologies.

Desired Real Estate Investments

SunChase is an opportunistic investor willing to evaluate investments from a wide spectrum of real estate classifications. Currently, SunChase is seeking the following real estate investment opportunities:

Acquiring Distressed Real Estate.

This can include residential or commercial assets, in the following status categories:

• Raw, Entitled or Improved Land
• Existing Commercial Buildings, including office, retail, industrial or apartment properties.
• Bulk distressed real estate portfolios.

 

Acquiring Distressed Real Estate Loans.

These can include loans secured by any class of real estate, and may include bulk distressed loan portfolios.

 

Providing Real Estate Financing

This can take the form of a First Trust Deed, including Primer Loans and “DIP” Debtor in Possession Financing.

 

Providing Real Estate Joint Venture Equity.

This can be provided to selected partners based on the viability of the proposed real estate investment.
